Nelson is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and originating industrial speculative development opportunities. Additionally, Nelson is engaged in market analysis, underwriting, due diligence, site acquisition, capital structuring, project administration, leasing, and asset dispositions.
Prior to joining USCD, Nelson was a Vice President with Panattoni, responsible for industrial development projects across the Midwest. Nelson previously worked for CapitalSource, a REIT specializing in commercial development properties, vacation ownership companies and hotel construction. Nelson has over ten years of experience in commercial real estate financing, underwriting and analyzing over $1 billion dollars of equity and debt investments across various real estate asset classes.
Nelson earned a Bachelor of Science with honors from Southern Methodist University, as well as an MBA from Washington University – Olin Business School.
